Back in 2015, Allison Ellsworth was ready to break up with soda — seriously. She didn’t love how it made her feel, and the ingredients certainly weren’t doing her any favors. But the taste? The taste she just couldn’t quit.
Determined to find a better way, she got to work in her Dallas kitchen. Mixing fruit juices with apple cider vinegar, prebiotics, and sparkling water, she created the future of soda.
She bottled up her fizzy new creation and took it to a local farmers’ market, hoping to change minds and gain some fans. That’s when a Whole Foods buyer stopped by, took one sip, and instantly knew a soda star was born.
Things really took off when she and her husband, Stephen, got the call from Shark Tank. Nine months pregnant, she boarded a plane to L.A., and next thing they knew, they were on camera making a deal with ‘The Brandfather’ himself, Rohan Oza.
After a bold rebrand and a fresh new name, poppi was officially born. Now, we’re stocked in major retailers nationwide and have some pretty cool friends along for the ride—Post Malone, Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Billie Eilish, Russell Westbrook, JLo, Olivia Munn, and more.
